Use of this website

This website is provided to share information about Jim Schwartzel’s campaign for the U.S. House of Representatives in Florida’s 19th Congressional District. You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation or security.

Contributions

Online contributions are processed by a third-party payment provider. By making a contribution, you confirm that:

  • The contribution is made from your own funds and will not be reimbursed by any other person or entity.
  • You are a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent U.S. resident, not a foreign national.
  • You are not a federal government contractor.
  • The contribution is not from the general treasury funds of a corporation, labor union or national bank.
  • You are at least 18 years old.

Contributions are not deductible for federal income tax purposes. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and employer of each individual whose contributions total more than $200 in an election cycle. Contributions that exceed legal limits or are otherwise not permitted will be refunded.

Information we collect

When you contribute, volunteer or contact the Campaign, we may collect information you give us, such as your name, address, email, phone number, occupation and employer. We use it to process contributions, meet our legal reporting obligations, communicate with you about the campaign and organize volunteers. Information about contributors that the law requires us to report is filed with the Federal Election Commission and becomes public.

We may share your information with vendors that help us run the campaign, and when required by law.

Email and text messages

If you give us your email address or mobile number, you agree that the Campaign may send you messages about the campaign. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any message. For text messages, reply STOP to opt out. Message and data rates may apply.

Content and trademarks

The text, photos, videos, logos and other content on this website belong to the Campaign or are used with permission. You may share links to the site, but you may not copy or reuse its content for commercial purposes, or in a way that suggests the Campaign endorses you, without our written permission.

Links to other websites

This site links to other websites, including social media and election offices. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
